Martha Kato

Here are some of my scratch paper drawings. I have had the privilege to collaborate with Motoji Kato, painter / my dad / soul mate / big supporter. We work as a team – I draw a clumpy sketch on a scratch paper, and drawing based on my ideas he does the magic. There is something about scratch paper that I never draw anything interesting on a clean blank paper. You can see how these drawings have turned out in my flyers, CD cover etc.
